Beschwerdeverfahren

We take complaints about our journalism seriously. Politikjournal24 is published by Mitte Digital Media Limited (Gibraltar company number C 92102, registered address Level 2, Portomaso Business Tower, St Julian’s, STJ 4011, Malta). Editorial responsibility rests with Chefredaktör Simon Engels, who oversees all complaints and ensures adherence to our standards.

How can I submit a complaint?

You may send a complaint by email to complaints@politikjournal24.de. Please include your name, a clear description of the specific content or conduct you are concerned about, and the URL or publication date of the article in question. Our complaints team aims to acknowledge receipt within two working days. We also accept complaints by post to our registered office, but email is the fastest route.

How is a complaint handled?

All complaints are logged and initially reviewed by our fact-checking and editorial team. We assess whether the issue relates to factual inaccuracy, unfair representation, breach of our editorial policy, or another journalistic standard. If the complaint is about a factual error, we consult our corrections policy and determine whether a correction, clarification, or removal is appropriate. The complainant receives a substantive response normally within ten working days, explaining the outcome and any action taken.

What if I am not satisfied with the response?

If you are unhappy with the initial handling, you may escalate the complaint directly to Chefredaktör Simon Engels by emailing anders.lindqvist@politikjournal24.de or calling +46 8 525 030 61. Simon Engels will personally review the case, the original complaint, the internal investigation, and the response provided. He will then issue a final decision within a further ten working days. This is the highest level of internal review.

Where can I find our editorial and corrections policies?

Our full editorial standards are set out in the editorial policy, which guides all reporting and fact-checking. The corrections policy explains how we handle errors, including the criteria for issuing corrections and how they are displayed. For information about how we handle your personal data during the complaints process, please see our privacy policy. If you need to contact us for any other reason, visit our contact page.
